The Pennine Suite

The Place Hotel is proud to announce the opening of our second function room, The Pennine.

The Pennine, boasts floor to ceiling windows, which allows natural daylight to flood in to the suite, providing a light and airy comfortable environment. Impressive bright white voils hang from the roof extenuating the clean and crisp feel of this suite whilst providing privacy.

Style has not been the only design element in our brief, practicality has also been a key aspect, we have provided black out blinds for all windows, along with air conditioning and heating.

The unique grade II features have not been forgotten about in this wonderful space, from Iron girders, exposed brickwork, barred arch ways plus a canal view, this space embraces our history and any celebrates talented architecture. If you look closely, you can still see features dating back to when we was known as  ‘The London Warehouse’, including the loading hatch where cotton would be lowered into waiting canal boats, which actually passed through this very room!

The Pennine boasts a private entrance into our very own Victorian garden, which is home to an array of fabulous exotic plants, old fashion street lights, ornate furniture, and a relaxing water feature, all of which makes for a tranquil environment. This area can be used as a welcome area, drinks reception or as a refreshing breakout space, whatever the use; this space is guaranteed to be a conversation starter, this really is an unforgettable addition to the main room.

The Pennine is capable of seating up to 120 people in a variety of styles, or 200 people for a drinks and canapé reception. You can take advantage of a private bar area, plus private bathroom facilities, all of which makes this self contained space ideal for a multitude of events.

We can facilitate anything from sit down meals, mouth watering carverys, buffets, to a more simplistic option of bowl food and canapés.

You can take advantage of your very own dedicated Conference & Event Coordinator, who will be with you every step of the way, providing advice and help with every aspect of your event. We can assure you that every element will be handled with professionalism and attention to detail.

Ultimately The Pennine has managed to achieve the perfect balance of old and new, contemporary styling along side modern fixtures which compliment the Grade II features perfectly, ultimately creating an unforgettable, unique space.
