The Place Hotel has just completed the first phase of its impressive £3.5million renovation project, to upgrade and improve its reception areas, and introduce a resident’s lounge and bar.

The ground floor of the hotel has been beautifully enhanced, renovated within the existing building footprint, without additional square footage.

Modern and vibrant from floor to ceiling, the newly renovated Place Hotel, combines colour, comfort and style, with functionality and flexibility.

The prevailing effect and style can be described as warm minimalism, and the chic interior design incorporates vibrantly spicy, luscious tones, and sophisticated lighting.
Contemporary, with a traditional twist, the new design both contradicts and complements the beautiful Grade II listed, Victorian framework, and provides an eclectic mix of classic period architecture, and a chic-modern, yet quirky, ambience.
Located just off the reception, the stylishly designed, ultra-modern bar, will accommodate up to 50 guests, for lunch and evening meal, serving drinks all day, to both residents, and external visitors. Phase two of the refurbishment is equally exciting, with plans to develop a purpose-built, hi-tech meeting and conference centre, boasting a 150- seater conference suite, with a further 8 break out rooms in varying configurations.
